Dont know about you guys but ive seen freighters moved with like 3 people escorting them. A forward scout, rear scout, and someone to web the freighter. If either of the scouts see anything then the freighter just logs off.

Put 425mm railguns on your apoc and it will chew up what lasers wont. Fit antimatter for kinetic/thermal. 425s are easier to fit then mega beams/pulses. It only takes a day to train for large hybrid turrets.
